Countless hours gathering seaglass led Eva Shute, artist and founder of Plum Cove Seaglass, to ponder the origins of each gem she pulled from the sand. Was this once a treasured teacup? Why is the royal blue color so rare? And eventually, how can she recycle these pieces of the past to bring the beach into our homes?  

Eva’s curiosity led to research, which led to stories that flirted with the potential origins of each piece of ancient glass. While the exact stories may be long lost to the waves, Eva keeps coming back, forever entranced by the notion that each piece has a history… and a mystery.
